Reflection 2
Last year I observed a physical education class at Overlake. The teacher used technology in a variety ways which was the use of workout music through a play-list on the computer. Music today especially in PE classes helps students to become more motivated in class to workout. The teacher was also fortunate in having a classroom right next to the gym, so that the teacher could demonstrate videos through the projector onto the smart board from youtube.com. The teacher would once a month have students use the internet in researching to find new games to play in PE in their free time. Technology has given PE a chance to expand and learn new innovative games through the internet to teach to students.

I remember this class and the teacher. The use of music as a way to motivate, and keep the work out fun was great. There was also the use of watches with heart rate monitors. They were very easy to use and that made it easy to learn about good work out habits. Thanks Drew for reminding me of this use of technology.
